About Me

I'm Farzad, a software engineer based in Lisbon, Portugal, with over a decade of experience planning, designing, and delivering web applications in agile teams. I care about clean architecture, SOLID principles, and test-driven development, and I enjoy building responsive, interactive products end to end.

Currently I'm a Lead Software Engineer at Groupe Crédit Agricole / AZQORE SA, working on a portfolio and wealth management system with a team of 7 frontend and 2 backend developers. Before that, I worked with teams at Lufthansa Group Digital Hangar, Total e Integrated (Canada), National Iranian Copper Industries, Homes Around (UK), Dataak, and Huawei — across ERP systems, feedback platforms, and big-data analytics applications.

On the client side, I work mostly with Angular, React, and TypeScript; on the server side, with .NET, Node.js (Express, NestJS), and PHP (Laravel). I've also worked with blockchain tooling (Solidity, Hardhat, ethers), and I hold an MSc in Cryptography from Sharif University of Technology.

Over the years I've led monorepo and micro-frontend architectures, published and maintained dozens of internal libraries, mentored front-end teams, and helped define code review and delivery practices that reduce hot fixes and improve time to market.
